The Mills Brothers became the first black group to have a network radio show when they signed a 3 year deal with CBS in September, 1930.

Their music, a unique blend of vocal jazz and pop, is showcased on this album.

This copy, a 1979 remaster, omit one track (“I’ll Be Home for Christmas”) and has a different track order from the original 1959 release.
